A few highlights of what Mankato Area Children in Need has assisted with this last year:

 ¨      Funding was provided to families to purchase adaptive bicycles for their children. When not riding these bikes, most of the children are dependent upon wheelchairs or walkers to move.  However when they are on their new bike they can be with their friends and just have fun – which is what kids are supposed to be able to do!  The smiles on their faces are priceless!

¨      Funding was provided to the Miracle League of North Mankato to help with their 3^rd season at Fallenstein Field. Many families enjoyed spending their summer at the field watching their children play ball and visiting with other families.

¨      Funding was provided for several children to attend camps and participate in recreational programs for special needs children.
